Art has been a passion for me since I was a child. When I was introduced to picture framing as a teenager, I was instantly attracted to the concept of frames and their relationship to the artwork they surround.  I learned the hands-on skills of framing, matting, and design while still in high school. I went on to receive a B.A. in art studio with a minor in art history, then continued with framing after graduating.

In 1996, luck brought me to Nantucket, where I was introduced to a beautiful island rich in arts and culture. In 2000 I opened Nantucket Frameworks. Since then I have had the pleasure of working with the artists, galleries, and the people of Nantucket, and I am proud to be a year-round resident with my family.
